About DMENTID

DMENTID is an independent rapper, songwriter, and producer from the Bronx, based in Brooklyn, New York. Known for his introspective and reality-driven approach to hip-hop, he uses personal storytelling to document the real process of growth, self-doubt, and perseverance without relying on clichés or overnight success narratives.

He released his first album of his current creative run, Aspire (2022), fully independently under FNM Entertainment LLC. During the recording process for his follow-up album, In My Head (2024), DMENTID became involved with the MooreBeats Collective, marking the beginning of his participation in collaborative projects as both an artist and producer.

He later released Fxxxing Happy (2025) and launched 52 Pick-Up (September 2025), an ongoing weekly release series in which he releases a new song every week as part of a year-long creative experiment.

In 2025, DMENTID contributed as both a producer and performer to T.E.A.M. – Class of 2025, a collaborative MooreBeats project. Among his most streamed releases is the single Feelings, a collaboration with Rob Finesse, which led to the formation of the duo N.I.M.. The pair released their debut EP WWW in 2025.

In addition to his solo work, DMENTID produces music for other artists and collaborates frequently with independent creatives across New York City.
